Sunday 24^th March: Palm Sunday:

• 9:30am at Wains Grove Park: Procession to St James the Deacon Church, with blessing and distribution of palm crosses at the park. Come and meet Charlie the donkey! For those who do not wish to join the procession, please gather at the church by 10am.
• 10:00am at St James the Deacon Church: Palm Sunday Eucharist (with children’s activities in the Hall)
  followed by refreshments.

Monday 25^th March at 7:00pm: The Eucharist

Tuesday 26^th March at 11:00am: Chrism Eucharist at York Minster (The Chrism Eucharist takes its name from Chrismation (anointing). The Archbishop of York will preach and will bless three oils for baptism, confirmation, and healing. The Archbishop will gather clergy from around the Diocese to renew the vows made at their ordinations, remembering the ministry to which they are called.)

Tuesday 26^th March at 7:00pm: The Eucharist

Wednesday 27^th March at 10:00am: Way of the Cross Eucharist

The Triduum (the three Great Days)

Maundy Thursday, 28^th March, 7:00pm at St Edward’s the Confessor: Eucharist of The Lord’s Supper (Joint service with St Edward’s)

Good Friday, 29^th March:

• 10:00am-12noon: Family Easter
  Workshop & Egg Hunt
• 2:00pm: Good Friday Devotions

Easter Eve, Saturday 30^th March, 8:00pm: The Easter Vigil and First Eucharist of Easter

EASTER DAY, Sunday 31^st March, 10:00am: The Parish Eucharist (with children’s activities in the Hall), followed by festive refreshments and Easter Bonnet competition.
